Their heads were down, their jackets pulled tightly around them for warmth. They called themselves the Others. Norman dropped to a crouching position. I really liked this book because it was real. The killer's motives were very odd and very cool. has a unique story line. Published by Thriftbooks. com User, 21 years ago. I have been drawn to Nightmare Halls since I first picked up KIDNAPPED. They are pratically adictive, and Ms. Hoh is very creative with her plots. GUITLY was good, but didn't have the usually ges affect on me.

Most of these Scholastic thrillers are basically the same thing done differently, this one is by a writer I really don't care for, Diane Hoh, and after 20-30 pages I stopped reading this book, it is boring, slow, and the characters aren't interesting.

After reading most of the Nightmare Hall books, this one has always been my favorite. It has a great plot and I was very surprised by the ending. 2 thumbs up! Good reads!
