The Naughtiest Girl in School. Elizabeth Allen is a pretty and smart little girl who been entered to boarding school by her mother. It’s the first time for her because she take homeschooling before. I bought a couple of Blyton’s books a couple of years ago because I thought that I might have missed out not having had the chance to read them when I was a child. I never got around to reading them until one Friday afternoon a couple of weeks ago. The books all seem a bit formulaic and I had to constantly remind myself that they were written at a totally different time in a rather different society. Nevertheless I couldn’t shake the conflicting feelings about the The Naughtiest Girl in School.

Read this to my grand-daughter and it brought back so memories from my childhood when these books were absolute favourites. Has stood the test of time. Sydney loved it as much as I do and she's 60 years younger than me!

My 10 and 7 yr old boys loved listening to this despite it being a story about "a naughty girl" - they are Enid Blyton fans and love the Famous Five audio stories we have on CD. Enid Blyton is not well known in the US which is a shame. Arrived in good time from the UK.
