Too often middle books in a series lose focus - too much teen angst, convoluted love triangles and less action. I'm happy to say this is not the case with Reloaded. Grant continues to make his readers care about his characters, and they are so well drawn that I feel as if I know each of them personally. The stakes rise as the "good" guys attempt to fight the bad guys, and we're drawn even further into the hell that is nanotech. Sadie and Noah, along with their twitcher buddies, race to save the human race - and themselves - in this non-stop thriller.

In my opinion, Michael Grant is a talented author and the first BZRK book astounded me (when I refer to the first book, I will use 'BZRK'. For the sequel, I will use 'BZRK Reloaded'). It was the greatest book I had ever read, but when I read BZRK Reloaded, my opinion changed. BZRK Reloaded lacks the excitement of Michael Grant's 'Gone' series and BZRK. Also, the first chapter of a sequel should entice you and remind you of the previous book by relating to characters and 'updating their status'. The first chapter in BZRK Reloaded is about how a biot enters the president's mind and makes her murder her husband. Yes, this plays an integral role in the rest of the book, but is that a way to start a story? And the next chapter is about Keats and Plath's romance. It doesn't flow and it doesn't fit together. As great as Michael Grant's other books are, this one is not enticing, it doesn't flow, it doesn't show what other characters are up to and it certainly cannot compare to BZRK and Gone's greatness.

This story is like a biology lesson. And though that doesn't sound fun it's actually really cool. As biots and Nanobots go about in the micro they explain how things go on in a living thing.

BZRK Reloaded has much more action in the macro and much less in the micro than in the first book BZRK.

In this book the Biot 4.0 comes out which I very awesome.

Simply brilliant: great plot, better characters, excellent evil guys, and a twist at the end that'll have you saying words your mother may not approve of.

The madness continues! Action never stops on this global chessboard of messing with others minds.

This book was equally as amazing as the first. Love the detailed descriptions and it really defines escapism. I'm still in awe of his incredible imagination.

Fantastic new series from Michael Grant. He just keeps them coming! I discovered him with GONE and have been devouring his books ever since! LOVE the BZRK series with the fascinating insight into the nano world...
My son has been reading this series and he really enjoys it. The beginning was a little rough but he has come to like the series.
