Fodor's The Complete Guide to the National Parks of the West features comprehensive information on everything within each of the 38 national parks of the West and on the towns and attractions nearby. I had an older version of a book on National Parks of the West from another publisher; I used it as my initial planning resource for several years. IMO, this newer version from Fodor’s blows the old one away.
