Bought this for a cricket fan, he loved it and actually wants to get copies for his friends.

Firstly, the quality of the physical book wasn't 100%. The back cover was bent and looked old. The book wasn't written very well. Besides the grammatical errors the content wasn't as entertaining as I would've liked. Overall this was a bad purchase.

It has been my favorite cricket book for a long time. I have a different edition for over 10 years. Weird and bizarre matches ever. But most importantly how the are showcased and how the author made them 'his own' with his own interpretation. As I once wrote in a blog in a prominent cricket website, it was my vade mecum for a long time.

If you're a cricket fan, there aren't many books out there for you. However, in this book, Andrew Ward tells about some legendary matches, some of which happened back in the 1800's. If you like cricket, get this book!
