The book contains a collection of photographs taken in Karakoram, a mountain range in northern Pakistan and India, and Hindu-Kush in Afghanistan. At the end of the book, all photos are annotated with thumbnail images and explanations relating to each image. Perhaps the only drawback of the book's design is that many photos span two pages, which isn't very nice because you can't see much near the book's binding.
