I enjoyed this book. It did have a bit too much talk about Jesus, I thought. I'm spiritual and believe in God, but sometimes I feel like there is a big push to "follow" Jesus in Neale's books. I liked that this book was a quick read, only took me about an hour, not including the exercises he suggests. I really got a great deal from the exercises he has the reader do. I was able to discover a few things about myself that I want to work on. This won't be the greatest book you ever read, but I think it is worth reading nonetheless.

Recreating Your Self is just like a mini guide to meaning of conversations with God and how to "create your life" rather than purely "reacting " out of fear and past experiences through the eyes of others ......Inner self develpoment guide.....The best to renew!

Enlightening. Refreshing. Highly recommended to anyone tired of religion and looking for more. Live life as a creator and not a follower of any.

The book was not what I was expecting. It was a good book though. The exercises were about going into the past & I can see where that would be helpful. I read about 3/4 of it & just couldn't into it. I'm not saying that it wouldn't be helpful to people. It just wasn't very helpful to me or what I was expecting.

I am a HUGE fan of Neale Donald Walsch. Every since the "Conversations with God books" which changed my life, my thinking and my beliefs, I have been a respecter of his books. I have every one of them. Even the book and video of "The Secret", in which he participates, if Neale did not participate in it, I would not have bought it. It is not Neale, but the spirit of God that speaks to me through him.
