Based on the product description and the previous reviews I wanted to like this book. I have a good, a very good, long term relationship which I want to make truly great. I am sure there is some wisdom in this book but I could not slog through to find it. What the reviews called "free form poetry" is actually incomplete sentence after incomplete sentence, plus what seemed to me as flowery mumbo jumbo. In proetry I don't expect to find a subject and a verb but in prose I look for it to beat understand the meaning of the author.
I am sure there are others who will find this styling appealing. I found it off putting.

I have never written a review for anything. I am inspired to do so now. This book has permanent residence on my reading chair. I refer to it over and over, for the warmth and wisdom that it offers. I honestly feel this book is sacred, as it is shared through an honest deep exploration of unified partnership.

I applaud the courage of the Levine's for addressing each topic and adding their love to soften the edges.

I especially appreciated the subject of "Heightened Monogamy". Wow! That concept shifted everything that had limited my view on what monogamy means. It raised the bar in such a way as to uplift my intentions and in turn, my relationship with both my Beloved and The Beloved.

The Love that comes through the hearts of Stephen and Ondrea is somehow captured and poetically expressed page after page. Buy several copies and give them as gifts. The world will be transformed when we all grasp deeply this beautiful knowledge!!! Enjoy! And love well!

Throw her heart

For those who believe they have found, or are still seeking a divine partner, this is the book to guide us. For those on the spiritual path and who have found that kindred soul, a clear path to the Beloved is provided. What is unique about this book, is that the authors have done the work and now offer a guide for those of us who are choosing to follow. Moving to higher consciousness with a partner, is an exalted but very challenging path. Ever worth the effort and loving labor.

I read this book years ago and was happy to read it again after a distance. Some good uplifting wisdom here about cultivating a relationship with "the beloved," which is the source of all things.

This is the best book on relationships that I have read. It changed the way I look at myself and my beloved. My ego no longer prevents me from loving and now I can love with an open heart.
