The actions of the mind we may also speak of as mental force; that is, that power in the mind that is distinct both from mental quality and the physical side of the brain ; and we always find that the possession of an exceptional degree of this mental force or power, always means mental brilliancy as well as high mental activity.

Think you have untapped powers? You do. In this work, originally published in 1913, one of the earliest New Age thinkers asserts that not only do we all have the power to achieve greater wisdom, creativity, productivity, and fulfillment, but that this growth is possible for anyone who is willing to concentrate. Foreshadowing the modern field of positive psychology by decades, Larson provides illuminating information about how the brain works in tandem with the body and the emotions, and walks you through exercises that help you gain mental strength and agility, ultimately improving your thinking-and your life. This Book Like All Of Larsons Books Are What I Wish I Read Instead Of Wasteing Years Of Reading "The Secret" And Trying To Learn It And Do It! Don't Waste Your Beautiful Precious Time On That Pysco-Hypno Fluff!.I'm Certain That Christian D.Larson Had An Direct Link To The Heavenly Spheres Where If You Read Slowly(No Speed Reading Here My Friend) His Words And Knowledge Can Take You If Only You Allow Yourself To Apply His Teachings.I Consider Him One Of The BEST In This Type Of Reading. His Teachings Are Like Dying Of Thirst In A Hot And Dry,Dusty Desert And Finding A Real Oasis With Cool,Refreshing Water That You Drink In While Swimming In It.Truly Remarkable Words. If The Christian Churches Used These Teachings They Would Have Far More Happier Results And Success Than Trying To Teach And Interpret The Bible,AMEN!

After reading late 19th & early 20th century New Thought writers for some years now, Ive just finished a couple of Christian Larson books. These people (New Thought writers) all had a little bit different take on the "Spiritual Angle", and at the same time were all focused on the same goal, the advancement of the individual and the Human Race. The basic principle in this book is developing finer, better quality, brain cells. The reason being that our minds cannot express well through sluggish, poor or dormant brain cells. Makes sense. How many of us have ideas and ideals that we want to live up to or bring in to action but just can't. Do we ever really try to find out why? If anyone is going to read a book like this I have some practical advice. Some I have read through the years have baffled me some at the beginning, say the first 1/4 to 1/3 of the book. I used to put them down and start something else. what I found out was that a couple years later I picked the book back up and finished it, finding out that the best part was further on, if that makes any sense. What I do these days is just continue reading and finish the book. In other words, I don't let a section of the book stop me from advancing on to get the full message. This was an excellent read and would help anyone with an open mind (even a little) to advance, attain & achieve.
