I bought this last month and have been listening to it almost everyday. Since then I have noticed a marked improvement in my self confidence and composure. Just follow the instructions set out for you in this program and STICK WITH IT. Also, try some of the other CD's in this series. Remember, you'll get the most out of this program if you are dedicated to self improvement.

Sorry to say, I found this cd a total waste of money, not to mention completely disappointing. It simply repeated statements over and over again. No real lesson, advice, tips, etc. Do your research, check reviews, there are some great books, and programs out there that are very helpful with this topic. Unfortunately, this is not one of them. (in my opinion that is)

I was mislead by the title of the CD "How to ..."

expecting to learn some skills with real life examples. This is actually a mind traing CD. It would try to lead you to close your eyes and relax and then try to program your mind to tell yourself that you can achieve whatever you have set your mind to do. I found it boring. I preferred the book "When I say no, I feel guilty" by Dr Manuel J. Smith as it teaches you real techniques.

There is not one reference to learning any skills to build self confidence and become assertive. This is a boring meditative CD. Save your money. If you want guided meditation, find it on you tube for free. If you want to listen to someone who knows what he's talking about, purchase Tony Robbins "the power within". I am HIGHLY disappointed.
