I am a structural engineer that just retired after a 47 year carreer. I have not solved differential equations for years but always thought how important they were to engineers and wanted to revisit them in my retirement. This book is tailored for solving physical problems and does not wander to pursue mathematical oddities. The presentation is very clear and thoughtful and should be of great help and interest for students as well as practising engineers. I recommend highly to all persons interested in the subject.
