Compact Data for Navigation and Astronomy 1996-2000. Includes software NavPac. Previously entitled Sight Reduction Tables for Air Navigation. The tile was changed to highlight the fact that this publication was no longer being used for air navigation but by mariners. Nominally, but USNO take little part and not published by USGPO, however, also published for HMNAO in the US by Willmann Bell.

The precision used in this volume is appropriate for use on scientific pocket calculators or personal computers. Tables of coefficients are supplied for calculating the positions. The compact presentation eliminates the need to carry larger nautical almanacs or sight reduction tables.
