A Vampire Memories Novel. About Ghosts of Memories. A Vampire Memories Novel. Part of Vampire Memories. Category: Science Fiction & Fantasy. She wants to provide a home where she can teach them to follow the Four Laws that will protect them and their kind.

Ghosts of Memories book. I've been looking for a vampire novel I can really sink my teeth into and I found it. I liked it so much that I set out to get all the books and devour them. Ghosts of Memories was a fantastic squeal and ending to the series. Each new character is given such carefully written back story that makes you feel like you've known them forever. You feel Bar-none this vampire series was one of the most gripping, heart pounding, suspenseful, blood dripping romance for teens that I've read in a long time.

With her vampire protector Philip Branté and their human companion Wade Sheffield, a former police psychologist, Eleisha Clevon searches the world for isolated vampires—and offers them sanctuary. She wants to provide a home where she can teach them to follow the Four Laws that will protect them and their kind. But not all vampires want to live by anyone’s rules but their own. Christian Lefevre has been posing a psychic, catering to the upper crust of Seattle society by making contact with their dead loved ones—and leaving his clients faint and weak after each encounter. Now Eleisha must confront the most deadly predator she has ever faced—or lose everything she has fought to protect…

Burilar
Vampire Eleisha Clevon lives among humans without killing them as she adheres to the Four Laws. Her "life's" goal is to mentor her species to live in harmony with humans. Thus, Elisha, accompanied by her vampiric protector Philip Branté and their human friend former police psychologist Wade Sheffield, search for other vamps.

Meanwhile Julian Ashton the raging vampire continues his hunt for elders using Eleisha and her associates as his unwitting guides. At the same time in the Seattle area, Christian Lefevre masquerades as a psychic who makes contact with the deceased loved ones of his affluent clients; after each session his customers are left extremely weak.

The latest Vampire Memories urban fantasy (see Memories of Envy and Hunting Memories) is an engaging tale as readers learn much more about the psychology of being a vampire as most live for ages as loners with powers superior and vulnerabilities in comparisons to their sustenance species. Fans find out more about what motivates evil Julian and goodness Eleisha as both are wired differently than the humans that surround them. Filled with action in Wales and Puget Sound, Barb Hendee provides a deep look at what being a vampire feels like while swimming upstream in a human ocean.

I did not find this book as good as the rest of the vampire memories series. The story was a little unfinished. Did Philip ever overcome the joy of killing and learn to feed by the first law or did he still have to go out sometimes and rip throats out ? Did Maxim ever get back his powers? Did Elisha ever stop being a nieve child and stop thinking she was always right? Did Mary ever get back to the second plane and did she now want to? I really liked the rest of the series but did not think it all came together in this book. Of course I would reccomend it to others to read as at least you find out what happened to Julian.

This book was one of the best in the saga.

I can't believe its the end but there is a huge opening for more so I'm hoping that Barb will see sense an start on the next book.

Ghost of Memories will be a book I will reread over and over again, Mr Boo and Tiny Tuesday are a great attention.

However being a bloke I did notice that perhaps the blood and gore we have come to love in Barbs books is missing along with the raw uncut emotions for blood, fear and death of the innocent people.
The drama of the story did make up for this....JUST !

Everyone in this book seemed tamed.

But I'm just being picky :)

For easy to read mind-candy this was good, quick, and enjoyable. It's ending however left me to wonder if the series is over, and the author wanted to leave our characters in a good place to finish it, or if there will be more with new and different challenges to come. Still, I had fun once again stepping into this world and hope I will have the opportunity to do so again in the future.

It wasn't as great as most of her books. Kinda slow.

The vamps were not very "vampy" in this series the story builds and then just ends and I think there could be so much more depth added to each character
I have been reading this series since the beginning and love it. It's not that long between books but it feels like it because I enjoy them a lot.
