As I started reading this book,I started telling myself that I knew these characters but I had read it before, but it was the wrong time period! So happy that Fern took the time to tell us more! Now I don't want to wait too long for the sequel as I know that my favourite author will already have the story ready to put into book form! Thanks Fern!

A good story but a good part of this books revolves around the paternity of a child and no one ever mentions trying a blood typing test. The test was developed in the 1920's and may have decided the issue. I don't know if the author didn't know about the test or just thought her readers were ignorant.

I enjoyed Sins of Omission and while reading had to order this second book and wish Fern Michaels had written a third. From two young servicemen to grown men, Reuben and Daniel's friendship never wavers, even though complicated by family members. From powerful lives in Hollywood to France being invaded with characters rescuing people and children, survival seems to be the theme of this novel....whether in the corporate world or private world. A surprising twist as to who Reuben really loves, and a lot of love and intrigue in this second book.

War and hatred by militant leaders from the past is so similar to what we have today it is eye opening. Let's hope that violence does have a little romance woven in with it rather then the reports of death as we are experiencing now so many years after the setting of this novel.

This is the sequel to "Sins of Omission" and I must say, I feel these two books are Fern Michael's best. Gripping story that leaves you on the edge of your seat. Characters you love and some you love to hate. Could not put the books down. Do buy the 2 together as you will not want to miss the ending!

As with all the books I have read to count 18 all authored by Fern Michaels this book kept my interest with every turn of the page. I could not finish this book fast enough. You must read this book, don't let the title fool you, because it does. Never in a million years would you ever guess what this book is about just by the title. If you have never read a Fern Michaels book, if you pick this one you will be hooked.
After reading the first book Sins of Omission I could hardly wait to get Sins of the Flesh and I was not disappointed at all when I received it. All I can say is WOW, I laughed, cried, had so many emotions while reading both of these books. I learned things that I had forgotten when I was in school about the history of the 2 World Wars. These two books are well worth the time to purchase and read them.
