All Celia had wanted to do was grant her dying father's wish to see her happily married. Now she must spend day and night pretending to be madly in love with her gorgeous new groom.

I've always been a devoted fan of Sandra Field's books, even before I met her at a UNB course where she so kindly coached me on writing romance (a few years ago now). I loved "Contract Bridegroom". As always Sandra's character's are extremely vivid, and the story excellent. Thanks for a great read!

A bridegroom (often shortened to groom) is a man who will soon be or has recently been married. A bridegroom is typically attended by a best man and groomsmen. The first mention of the term bridegroom dates to 1604, from the Old English brȳdguma, a compound of brȳd (bride) and guma (man, human being, hero). It is related to the Old Saxon brūdigomo, the Old High German brūtigomo, the German Bräutigam, and the Old Norse brúðgumi.
