Fast forward through a lotta cheesy romance. The ending was really stupid, but I guess it had to end...LOL. Anyone with common sense would know from the get go that Mercy and DAniel would end up together from the time when they were little, the book passed some time and I got to hear about a freatther crown, which was a bit of interesting nostalgic history that sparked some research.
the characters were not really brought out enough and the former characters from past books seemed more of cartoonish characterization of their former selves. I would recommend you pass on this book.

Dorothy Garlock writes the best historical romance! Love the women in her novels that know how to cook and take care of a home! Her characters are people you want to know! I love the Quill family and their adopted children Mercy and Danial. Dorothy did a wonderful job telling their story!

Having an adopted brother, I thought it was weird that Mercy and Daniel had the hots for each other! Several things I didn't like about the book!
