This was a young lady ,when young was very plain, over weight, very studious. She didn't have many friends nor a boyfriend. One night her life changed. She was walking back to her form with another girl, when 5 men jumped out of the bushes and attacked her friend, they RAPED her friend, she couldn't help her because they knocked her down. Her life changed from that night.

I liked the characters in this book, but it was hard to like the main character. It just didn't hold my attention. I kept wanting to put the book down and not finish, which I never have done with other books written by the same author.
It was just a hard one to finish for me.

The absolute best I've read by Fern Michaels. Great storyline and really great, well developed characters. This was a real page-turner. Loved it!!
Risky Strong Dromedary
This is my third book and I couldn't stop reading this one just like the other two books. I read Betrayal first and that book hurt my heart. I read this book and was hoping that there would be another book with these characters because I fell in love with all of them even the dogs. Now I'm on to my next book and I know it's going to be hard to put down. If you like mystery wacky people and love this book is perfect.

Romantic mysteries are my favorite reads. I loved this book. It kept me entertained and guessing. I enjoy Fern Michael’s books. She never lets me down. They are all great reads.

I didn't like the characters. I found Trixie to be rude and crude, and I didn't like Jane either. A psychiatrist that holds on to her own past. She was unforgivably mean to Mike after becoming engaged. The meeting with the rapists was very far fetched. I won't be reading this author again.

I love it when Ms Fern has coffee, dogs , women who kick butt for justice done! Love it ghosts are in it and happy endings.
It a good way to brings awareness to the Campos rapes all other abuse victims . It lets you see the victims side and how it affects the family and every one expect the
one inflicting the abuse.
