Overall Gunton does a very good job in working toward a fully Trinitarian theology. He covers I get very sad to know that this was Gunton's very last book that he himself compiled/wrote.

Overall Gunton does a very good job in working toward a fully Trinitarian theology. It is so obvious that Gunton planned for more, much more, and then was struck by that very untimely illness that lead to his death. Yet, as Steven R. Holmes points out, there is something fitting at least that he finished his writing by a sentence pointing to the Christian hope of the resurrection of the dead. Overall Gunton does a very good job in working toward a fully Trinitarian theology
