What is the “one” secret to a successful, fulfilling life? Don’t we all want to know just that?

Best-selling author and goal-achievement expert Peggy McColl spent many years pondering that question and searching for the answer. Her driving curiosity took her from inspirational books to self-help workshops and lectures, as she absorbed the best advice from dozens of highly successful people, each of whom had their own ideas about the “one” secret. Like many people who are searching for a sense of purpose, Peggy looked outside herself for guidance. She learned a great deal, creating a better life for herself as she applied the wise teachings of others, yet true happiness eluded her until she finally realized what it actually was: everything she needed to know was within her already!

In this fascinating book, Peggy shares the lessons she learned during her journey of self-discovery, and will also show you how to discover and realize your own dreams. Her intention is to awaken you to your innate ability to create and enjoy the secret recipe for fulfillment: your Won Thing!

This book is easy to read, with many practical tips and suggestions for building a life that will be personally meaningful rather than getting trapped in trying to do what others expect from you.

Bestselling author Peggy McColl offers guidance for finding your own innate ability to be successful. As she shares the ups and downs of her own journey, she also gives the very clear message that it is okay to be "you" with your own desires and goals, even if others don't understand or support them fully.

I know many people will relate to her story of bouncing from one self-help expert or book to another, learning as much as possible from each one, while still searching for a single answer that would make it all come together and make sense.

At the heart of this book, Peggy shares the secret of her personal discovery along with clear advice that can help you synthesize all that you've been trying to do and achieve. I highly recommend the book for this reason.

I loved this book! It has so many important messages that can make our lives easier, smoother and happier. If we live our lives by first taking care of and honoring ourselves then we'll be able to live with more joy. Thank you for emphasizing being grateful for all that we have, for all of the lessons that we've experienced and learned from and for all of the people who have graced our lives. I like the way you tied the won thing together by weaving a story that people can relate to. The insights are profound, life changing and makes a difference in anyone's life! I'm glad you wrote this book. Thank you Peggy!

I'm pretty forgiving about self help/ positivity books but this really lacked substance. She is sponsored by Bob Proctor, but this book was not one to recommend.

This book has really turned around my thought process. I have been at my current job for about 4 years, and it was just a day-to-day job. No real value, and no feeling of worth there. This book has helped me to start thinking in a more positive way, and be truly grateful for all that I have. I just got a transfer with a promotion, and I think it is because of my new-found positive attitude. I highly recommend reading this one!

I read many of these self-help / pop psychology books, and I usually read the reviews to help me sort through which ones to buy. So I figured I should probably start adding in my two sense to hopefully let other people know which books are the real deal when I am finished reading them. Although many of these "pop-psychology" books can be a bit too new-age/ hokey, this one is true to real-life and definitely a book you will want to highlight and return to day after day. It makes sense because it's simple and applicable to every-day life. It was not written by a doctor or a wanna bee guru. It was written by someone who has studied the field, had become successful and happy, and someone people can relate to. I was very impressed; Impressed enough that I felt I needed to take five minutes out of my busy day to write a review.

I was excited by the title, the reviews, and the description. However, on reading the book in its entirety, I would advise that this is not new, ground breaking, or particularly practical. Lots of advice but not much in the "how to apply" category. For myself, stunning anti-climax 3/4 of the way through. I dont want to ruin the surprise but I have to be honest and say I was quite disappointed. However, I will give much credit to Peggy for her marketing skills, and ability to sell a book. This is her talent, and she has definitely demonstrated her skills in this area. If you have written something, and you want to get published, Peggy has certainly shown that you can sell your book.

I just finished reading the book and I am rather disappointed by it.
The first and lenghty part of the book describes the author's journey through other self-help concepts, how they worked or did not work for her. After stating that the reader should follow through this to be able to fully appreaciate and understand the "one secret" mentioned in the later parts of the book I did just that.
So after a few hours of reading about the old concepts and theories I learned that the "one secret" is to use all the concepts mentioned before, not over-do it, find my own passion and strengths and live according to it.

I have to appreciate the honesty of the author in stating that there is no easy solution and no "one secret". Some might perceive this message as new and motivating - I find it rather obvious and not the return on my investment (money and time) that I usually am looking for.
Are you kidding me? The "One" secret for a totally fulfilling life is actually a compilation of six items which include such ground-breaking ideas as "Be happy" and "Do unto others". There is absolutely NOTHING new in this book. It doesn't help either that the author's anecdotes about these "secrets" mostly include stories about aspiring authors whom she has counseled...unless you're planning on writing and marketing a new book, you're left rolling your eyes. Don't get me wrong---the author is totally sincere but the book is nothing more than common-sense ideas. Save your money and precious time and research some better choices.
