Personally this book was more helpful for me to reduce my accents, compared to Well Said. but Well Said is also okay in learning stresses and he basic essential aspects of speaking English.

I received this book and it was used by another person. Ok, I can understand that it is a used item. But considering that it is a book, if you are going to sell it at least try to do it in good conditions. Now it does not make any sense to try to do the exercises knowing the answers (because even if I erase the marks, some signs of the answers still remain). I want to return this item and have a refund.

This is an excellent tool for non-English speakers to help improve word pronounciation. I ordered the workbook that goes with it which is very helpful as well.

I am a master's student in Applied Linguistics and Teaching ESL. I had to buy this textbook for a course, but I plan to keep it because it has so many activities for teaching both segmentals and suprasegmentals. I have also used it in tutoring students. I would prefer for some of the communicative practice activities to be more engaging, though.
