Had this book decades ago, but lost it. "The Hustler", both the book and the film, got my friends and me interested in shooting "straight pool" back in high school. Practice and Mosconi's books helped me to progress and improve... let's just say that while in the military for 4-years, shooting pool sometimes helped to augment the meager, enlisted man's pay. Am still shooting today, on my own table, for cold weather entertainment and self-satisfaction. Mosconi is still the man and 14.1 Continuous Pocket Billiard is still the real game.
