its good for comparative anatomy. Extremely detailed and great dissection guidelines.

its good for comparative anatomy. the pictures are good, the only down side is that because is black and white some of the illlustrations are a little bit hard to distinguish but overall it is really helpful. One person found this helpful. Very simple and easy to follow/ do. The pictures are as perfect as one could ever hope for, without this a zoology/ anatomy class would be near impossible.

While the book is far from comprehensive it is a perfect guide for undergraduate study courses such as. .This book is extremely helpful in dissection of Squalus, mudpuppy, and Felis. Most illustrations are black and white drawings- but in enough detail to see what to look for.

While the book is far from comprehensive it is a perfect guide for undergraduate study courses such as comparative vertebrate anatomy as a supplement to the instructors information. The blood vessels are in color, but I wish it had a color scheme of veins and arteries together on more pages.

This was an incredible deal. This made the lab porting of comparative vertebrate anatomy a lot more manageable. The diagrams in the book are great study aids, and help to point out hard-to-find muscles and vasculature. I can say that having this to supplement the class definitely improved my grade. Buy this if you need something extra to help you out

Our campus bookstore was charging $80 for this book. I paid $14 with shipping from Amazon...

The drawings are great and were a wonderful supplement during our lab work. Every creature we dissected was in this book.
