It must have been a very popular books, I checked before school start for rentals, they have multiple of them. But few days later, it was gone. Totally out of stock. My professor likes it because is light weight. I think is alright, they give great stories, so you can make connections with your daily life.

The book was good and useful for a low cost rental price. Unfortunately, this book was required for the class I took, but my instructor was a bit crafty and not using questions from the book. Had to figure out what the book said and then try to apply to her questions. A little tricky. The book doesn't really go in depth as the biology teacher does.

I got the wrong edition - I needed the one with chapters on the reproductive system and physiology and stuff - but otherwise this textbook was one of the better biology ones I've read.

Goof book. Had to purchase for my Genetics of Disease class and is a great book for learning the basic of biology in general but also great detail applicable to my course.

This book is pretty much used for intro Biology courses for non biology majors. Its a easy read it reads more like a magazine then a textbook so that's a small perk.
