The new edition of this successful health services text employs an analytical approach and framework to discuss the history and current practices of the US health care system. It includes new material which focuses on recent developments such as new systems of health care, the competitive health care marketplace, financing services, long-term health care and authorities in their respective fields. Chapters fall into five sections: overview of the health services system, causes and characteristics of health services use in the United States, providers of health services, resources for health services, assessing and regulating system performance, and health care policies and practice.

I just used this book last semester and it was very outdated. I don't know why it would take over 10 years to get a new one on the market. Other than the fact that I think they forgot about this book. Now that's not to say that the information isn't informative, because it certainly is, though hopefully the newer version is better.

Great!

The author is unable to write a book that educates without their opinion being introduced. The authors continue to drone on and on instead of coming quickly to the point. One of the worst text books I have had to date.

Textbook is outdated.

This book was a necessity for a core class but I will say it is well written and easy to follow. Topics were relevant and current with the health issues of today.

So I got this product, tried it before a workout. My hands, feet and face all began to tingle and itch. I thought "hey maybe it was just a weird day for me..." Tried I again th next day and EXACT same thing happened! I looked for the ingredient on the container, well there's nothing. There isn't even a proper nutritional fact label!!!
I then did some snooping, I should have done it before I bought this... But apparently they somehow boosted their reviews on Amazon, not legitimately.

There's also an after taste of what would be best described as crushed medicine and unhappiness.

Oh and now my ears are tingling.

If I die from this product I'm going to make sure my fiancé sues this company.
