William Henry Drummond (April 13, 1854 – April 6, 1907) was an Irish-born Canadian poet whose humorous dialect poems made him "one of the most popular authors in the English-speaking world," and "one of the most widely-read and loved poets" in Canada. His first book of poetry, The Habitant (1897), was extremely successful, establishing for him a reputation as a writer of dialect verse that has faded since his death.

Rev Prof Henry Drummond FRSE LLD FGS (17 August 1851 – 11 March 1897) was a Scottish evangelist, biologist, writer and lecturer. Many of his writings were too nicely adapted to the needs of his own day to justify the expectation that they would long. A Scottish free churchman from Stirling, Scotland, Henry Drummond was drawn into evangelical revival during Moody and Sankey's tour of Britain in 1873. He followed up their work in Ireland and England, becoming skilled at helping all kinds of people in the "inquiry room.
