It brings together some critical realist and dependentist perspectives to analyze the relations between the US and Latin America.

It brings together some critical realist and dependentist perspectives to analyze the relations between the US and Latin America. The book is organized around a historical axis but the chapters are non-linear and include several issues and levels of analysis, which resulted very difficult for my second-year students with no previous training in international relations.

THE COMPANION BOOK TO THE PBS DOCUMENTARY SERIES Latino Americans chronicles the rich and varied history of Latinos.

The Latin Americans, was one of the books that, together with Octavio Paz's, gets the closest to untangling the mystery . Rangel magisterially develops in its book the answer to this distressing question and the answer is even more distressing.

The list of Latin Americans by net worth is based on an annual assessment of wealth and assets compiled and published by Forbes magazine in 2019. In the same year the region of Latin America and the Caribbean had over 100 billionaires (in USD). The countries with the billionaires are: Brazil (58), Mexico (17), Chile (7), Peru (6), Argentina (5), Colombia (3), Saint Kitts and Nevis (2) and Venezuela (2). Lists of billionaires. List of countries by the number of billionaires.

People do not completely agree as to which countries are in Latin America, but in most cases, it is made up of the parts where Spanish and Portuguese are spoken. This includes most of South America and Central America (sometimes also the Caribbean islands), and also Mexico in North America.

Latin Americans (Spanish: Latinoamericanos; French: Latino-américains; Portuguese: Latino-americanos) are the citizens of the Latin American countries and dependencies. Latin American countries are multi-ethnic, home to people of different ethnic and national backgrounds. As a result, some Latin Americans do not take their nationality as an ethnicity, but identify themselves with both their nationality and their ancestral origins

Latin America and the US have very similar backgrounds, which means they have similar interests. I guess the map also distorts the idea of Latin Americans regarding American power.

Latin America and the US have very similar backgrounds, which means they have similar interests. Brazil is bigger than the contiguous US therefore the whole Latin America is much bigger than the US. When you spend years looking at the Mercator world map, as a Latin American you get the idea that the US has a much bigger presence in the Americas that is has in reality. So the perception of US influence also gets augmented in people’s perception of reality. From Mercator’s to Galls-Peters projection
