The Problem of God book. Clark hurries through his arguments, rarely letting them approach anything remotely meritorious. And I am influenced by their writing, but my opinion can change within the next five years if I find sufficient grounds to be a post-modernist, Christian, Muslim, etc. The window is always open. But for Christians, this is not the case.

I'd claim Christian morality isn't merely unsatisfying, but it's also dangerous. Growing up under religious or authoritarian circumstances leaves a child void of any moral depth, without any satisfying understanding of why it's preferable to avoid certain actions

I'd claim Christian morality isn't merely unsatisfying, but it's also dangerous. Growing up under religious or authoritarian circumstances leaves a child void of any moral depth, without any satisfying understanding of why it's preferable to avoid certain actions. If a child is born into a religious or authoritarian family, then it's highly plausible that he'll be very confused on the subject of ethics if he rebels against his parents or religious views later in life. Moral nihilism is a common consequence, but which they tend to hastily abandon.

In fact, I am a very simple gu.

In fact, I am a very simple guy. I'm Catholic and I feel relatively knowledgeable of my religion and the only reason I bought "What's So Great About Christianity" is because of the author, Dinesh D'Souza. Toward the end, Dinesh speaks to Atheism, Why Unbelief is So Appealing, and Where the Atheists Are When Bad Things Happen. I could not put the book down as he defends Christianity from so many different angle rather than just the evolution versus creation argument so commonly heard. 19 people found this helpful.

Oh tell me Lord, why am I here? О, ответь мне, Господи, зачем я здесь? Lost in all our pain and sorrow. Are we to live in pain and fear? Неужели мы должны жить в боли и страхе? Oh tell me Lord, why am I here?

Along with 21 books, Fuller has written 65 book chapters, 155 academic articles and many minor pieces. He has given many distinguished lectures and plenary addresses, and has presented to academic and non-academic audiences throughout the world, including over 100 media interviews. Since moving to the UK, Fuller has increasingly oriented himself towards public intellectual expression, including television, radio and internet, which he interprets as a natural outgrowth of his version of social epistemology. Two of his books have been recognised in this regard.
