I was looking forward to receiving this item, but upon inspection, I found that yes, you CAN create new personalized flashcards and decks, but no, you can't use existing flashcards to create personalized decks. I created many new cards to capture the individual lessons in my textbook, and hoped I could use the ones in the inventory and copy them to those lesson-type decks. You also can't change the order in which your personalized cards are stacked in each deck. Unless I missed something here, having the options for both the aforementioned features would be an improvement.
I was really disappointed after finally downloading this (you have to download Adobe AIR or it doesn't work). It has tiny pictures and tiny words & does NOT go to full screen!! When I look at flashcards I expect all my senses to be bombarded with information, not just my ears. My brain will basically ignore the pictures & text, because it is so small & insignificant. I am just so disappointed. LL does such a good job with their textbooks. They could have done a way better job on this. I just don't understand why Byki seems to be the only company that understands what flashcards are for! You need to hit both sides of the brain!
