Boris Yakovlevich Levin (Russian: Борис Яковлевич Левин, 22 December 1906 – 24 August 1993) was a Soviet mathematician who made significant contributions to function theory. Boris Yakovlevich Levin was born 22 December 1906 in Odessa. In 1932 he graduated from the University of North Caucasus (Rostov-on-Don). From 1935 to 1949 he is Professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics of the Odessa Institute of Marine Engineers.
