I've had the Catchworld book by Chris Boyce since it was first published having been drawn to it in my teens . This book was my second contact with science fiction. The first was the star wars movie shown in the camp theatre on 16mm Film. The drawings blew me away.

I've had the Catchworld book by Chris Boyce since it was first published having been drawn to it in my teens by the wonderful artwork. The print and drawing was expertly packaged and promptly delivered. I have to say it is magnificent in the A2 print, with superb colour.

Catchworld by Chris Boyce. Note: this is a reprint of a column from 2009. CATCHWORLD by Chris Boyce is a book that I read as a child, which haunted my memory for decades. There are certain books one reads just at that golden time of life, usually age twelve, that do that. It is good science fiction because it prompts that horripilation of creepiness all good SF ideas prompt, when you realize that the idea is a possible ramification of current technology, creating a fundamental change in society-not necessarily a change for the better.

April 6, 2011 Portfolio, Spaceship. Panther Science Fiction. I love this painting (Catchworld). I think I was about 14 the first time I saw it and it inspired many sci-fi designs I came up with back then. Visit our shop for prints. August 24, 2011 at 20:58.
