Yu-Gi-Oh ! Tome 3 book.

Yu-Gi-Oh ! Tome 3 book. With the Millennium Scales and the Millennium Key, Shadi summons.

Artist/author Kazuki Takahashi first tried to break into the manga business in 1982, but success eluded him until Yu-Gi-Oh! debuted in the Japanese Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1996. Yu-Gi-Oh!'s themes of friendship and fighting, together with Takahashi's weird and imaginative monsters, soon became enormously successful, spawning a real-world card game, video games, and three anime series (two Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh! series and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX). A lifelong gamer, Takahashi enjoys Shogi (Japanese chess), Mahjong, card games, and tabletop RPGs, among other games. Библиографические данные

I really enjoyed this. As others have said it's a bit darker than the anime, but not too dark. It uses the Japanese names. I liked seeing more detail of the origins of the pharaoh. Most of these stories take place in Yugi's high school and have little to do with "children's card games." I imagine later volumes have more card playing, though there is some. The focus is rather on "games" and how the pharaoh loves games and... poetic justice? Again, it's a little dark, but not that dark.

Also, for any people out there like me who weren't sure about the format when they bought it, it reads like manga, back to front, right to left. I realize that some people will read this comment and think it's obvious, but I didn't know how Americanized this would be. I don't buy a lot of manga.

If you grew up watching the TV show and want an awesome backstory for a little more mature of an audience this book has been great so far. The shadow games are a lot of fun. I made a graph paper game of Shari's game of death.

Awesome to see where it all started. This manga is nothing like the anime! Far from it! In fact, that's a GOOD thing! It's dark, comical, and entertaining. The characters are much more interesting and enjoyable, and the art is fun too look at. Yu Gi oh the anime is great and all but no one can deny how goofy and corny it is. Yeah it's a kids show, but so what it was still good in its own ways. It had potential for better characters, well, this manga is the Jesus Christ of that answer. This goes more in depth, if you think you like Yu Gi Oh, wait til you read this, you'll love it even more!

I ordered this for my big brother's birthday. We love Yu-Gi-Oh the manga, card game, and anime. However I only saw some of it and would only highly recommend this for teens or adults. Some parts may seem a little violent for kids. It's much different from the anime which is very kid appropriate. I ordered the hardcover and it is perfect and excellent quality pages. Highly recommend for older Yu-Gi-Oh fans. :) Awesome seller.

I just wanted to say that this book is great! I don't know if other people just had bad luck, but mine arrived in excellent condition! Also, sure the pages are thinner than an average book, but not that much thinner. It still holds together, so unless you are a rough with your book, then it won't tear that easily. This is an excellent book. Highly recommend!

Really great manga, came in good condition, and comes with a neat card for D/D/D decks.

Wow this rambles on but if you really want to know the story this is it. It is Authentic Japanese writing and soul. They have risqué imaginations. In the end can't wait to continue to vol too.

Ps the pricing isn't bad considering this books sell paper back $11-15 a book so 5 bucks and it is downloaded to my kindle for ever! Count me in.
I'm a fan of the TV show, so I was expecting it to be like that, but it's actually very different. I don't know if it's only because it's the first volume, but duel monsters isn't even mentioned. It was still a fun story. I recommend it for those that want a little more in depth of who Yugi and his friends really are.
