Book by Cerny, Cynthia P

Finding new ways to unwind, and looking for "light" reading, I found myself very relaxed reading this book, and thought it relevant to what so many of us experience...(we write to know we're not alone)...I date exclusively within my faith, and have been disappointed to find even "posers" in that regard. I didn't feel the author was coming across conceited at all, but rather just having normal expectations, from a person with scruples. Overall, probably a comfort to single ladies, in general. My own personal recommendation...pray...perhaps the best is yet to come!
An easy, very funny read.
OK, I get it...the author thinks the author is a fantastic catch. The painfully obvious truth, after 15 chapters of hearing it, is that there is a common denominator to the "failed" relationships. No wonder she remains single! Her quest for a long-term, children included, wealth required beau makes one feel sorry for the men. The main "character" in the book is egotistical, financially driven, and difficult to feel empathy for in her pursuit of commitment (or, as she states: someone to put her on "a pedastal"). I know it touts as "non-fiction," but let's hope this book is, in fact, fiction and that the writing itself also improves before the next greeting card, um I mean "book."
A friend of mine bought this book for me. My first reaction was what a great title. I am 30-something and, believe me, I could relate to most every chapter. Not only did I laugh out loud while reading this book, but I absolutely could not put it down. The author has a wonderful writing style which made the book a breeze to read, and her humor is priceless. I highly recommend this book!
Some great short dating stories! It was funny & surprisingly informative. Unfortunately it was also relatable. It did get me through 48 hours of jury duty though :)
