House working needs someone who has experience about how to take care of the children and women have more experience about that while men don’t. In our community the women are more interested to take care of their children more than their husbands and they know more about what is the child needs more than their husbands. Many believe that one of the reasons behind the trend is that society's attitudes to the roles of men and women has changed - with fathers now happy to relinquish the traditional role of being the main breadwinner and take on the burdens of the family home. Anastasia de Waal, head of families policy at the think tank Civitas, said: 'A few decades ago the idea of the primary carer being a man would have been emasculating,' she said. Men feel much more comfortable with the idea.

Women’s Liberation invaded my house last year. My first day as a housewife (househusband) was a disaster, but it began very quietly. I washed and dressed the baby, and we played for a while. A few weeks after our first child was born I bought my wife a present – a subscription to the Women’s Lib. Magazine Spare Rib. Then she got sleepy, and I put her down for a nap.
