Gerard Jan Joling (born 29 April 1960 in Alkmaar) is a Dutch singer and television presenter. Known for his high tenor voice, he rose to fame in the late 1980s and released a string of singles including "Ticket to the Tropics" and "Love Is in Your Eyes". He also achieved success in Asia and received more than 20 gold and platinum records. In 1988, he was the Dutch participant in the Eurovision Song Contest 1988, with the song "Shangri-La".

Dowling has authored several books He is also an avid supporter of the North Melbourne Football Club and is the author of The North Story, a detailed history of the Club, published in 1997.

He has served in several parishes in Melbourne, Australia. Dowling is a well-known priest who trained in social work and he appears on a weekly radio counseling program on Sport 927.
