Despite scientific study and operational use for a quarter of a century by the US Government, few Americans have had the opportunity to hear the story of remote viewing, previously called clairvoyance. Remote viewing is the psychic ability to perceive persons, places and things beyond the reach of our normal five senses. In a lean and compelling journalistic style, Jim Marrs reveals both the history and the discoveries of the US Army’s formerly top-secret remote viewing unit. These soldiers turned psychic spies gained penetrating knowledge about a wide variety of subjects, from the Soviet plot to kill President Ronald Reagan to insights into the mysteries concerning UFOs and crop circles.

Excellent revelation of what was going on within the government in respect of a Black Sheep department, as it were, which has been disbanded. Or. . . has it? Maybe it's a deep under cover Black Ops entity, now. And that's what I figure it is.

Students that were involved in the Monroe Institute like as not were moved in in replacement of the existing group. The Monroe Institute, the book does tell, was closely associated with the government's Remote Viewing operations. Monroe, he even asked for help from them at least one time, when Monroe became aware that he was being spied on. Way back before there were computers I used to correspond with Monroe by mail. He read an early draft of material I was developing, and remarked, "It deserves wide dissemination." And his third and final book was aligned with it, entirely altering some things he had said before. I will be publishing in a couple of years or so at least four books called, called, the GUIDE Book Series.

Years worth of tests by the government's RV unit conclusively proved that seeing at a distance is possible, so why would the operation be simply eliminated? Makes no sense.

Note that Remote Viewing is not the same thing as an Out of the Body Experience. The book, in a few few brief remarks, makes that clear. An OBE is too cosmic. Any OBE experiencer in no way cares about any government interests. From that superior perspective all government interests could only be seen as it is. Sick. So remote Viewing is only done from a light trance state.

As a long time remote viewer and collector of all things remote viewing related this book is an awesome read and part of RVlore. Well researched and a very interesting insight into the sometimes murky world of remote viewing - this should be a part of every remote viewers collection.

Jim Marrs does his homework before he writes. I place a lot of trust in what he exposes as fact, and found this to be a good read. It is factual, based on all of what I know about the subject. I would tell you all I know, but then I would have to kill myself:)

Bought this great book after I read the "Psychic Warrior" by David Allen Morehouse back in 1996. It was a long wait, as this book did not get published till 2007, BUT WELL WORTH THE WAIT. PSI SPIES, by Jim Marrs, is a excellent look at the USA's Psychic Warfare Program.
