The written content in this book still rings true today, and is definitely worth reading. This is NOT just a coffee table book for weaver hipsters. The introduction shines a light on the context in which this textile movement emerged. This book shows the monumental commitment to textiles, fibre and weaving unparalleled in any other book. It is a moment captured

Great images and background into the artists involved in the fabric movement of the 70's. A book to have with you at all times..when inspiration is needed !

If you have any interest in fiber art at all, this book is essential.

These are the works that moved fiber from Grandma's rocking chair into galleries and museums.

If I could, I'd give it ten stars.

This is THE book I recommend to my graduate fibers students. The ideas presented are both stimulating and timeless. All of the photos provide a jump point for individual exploration on a theme or concept. The range of presentation never fails to stimulate the most jaded of minds.

Am I looking at the same book as these other people? Most of the photos are not even in color. And what is in there is a bunch of nothing. It has so little interesting in it that I have up after flipping through half of the pages!
