My daughter is always super excited when she gets a new Cam Jansen book. She loves all of these stories especially because they are all mystery books. This one is one of her favors. In my opinion they have the right amount of pages and hard to read words for a second grader. This series was also highly recommended by her teacher to strenghten her reading skills.

This was a good book for a second or third grade because it doesn't require much comprehensive skill. My daughter loved it.

My daughter and I have read all of the "Cam Jansen" books together. Earlier, in 1st grade, I did most of the reading, but by the end of first grade, she has been reading the whole books to me. They are all well-written and help teach her not only new words, but also to think a bit about the "clues" to the different mysteries. If you like mysteries and want to think a bit during childhood reading, try one of these.

You have to love Cam Jansen. When you're a kid, you read all of these stories about magic powers, mystery, and adventure. But everyone tells you magic can't exist. Cam Jansen manages to solve every case without the use of magic... she's a real girl. That's what makes her special and what makes you want to read more and more. She lives her life and has friends just like everyone else. Cam Jansen is a real kid superhero, and the thought that a person like her could actually exist... makes her the best kid detective ever! Kids can really associate themselves with Cam and her friends. Our family loves Cam Jansen!
