Currently, Burton operates Windy Ridge Woodworks, focusing on the design and construction of studio furniture and custom cabinetry. This is coupled with the teaching of woodworking workshops and the writing of woodworking books and articles. During the school year, Burton is department leader for the Technology Education Program at Boyertown Area Senior High School.
