I believe they evade humans because most of time we simply cannot see them. And conversely, they cannot see us. Reactions: PrincepAugus and Paracelsus. We have seen more than a few what look to be strategically placed small trees and limbs in interesting configurations that don't look like normal windfall. We suspect they are some sort of message to other Squatches.
