Gabriel Moran (born 11 August 1935) is an American scholar and teacher in the fields of Christian theology and religious education. Last updated September 21, 2019. 1935-08-11)August 11, 1935. His writings made significant contributions to the development of Catholic theology in the years following the Second Vatican Council. His writings have been translated.

Moran, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Moran of Manchester, . He is the author of 13 books, including ''Theology of Revelation'' and ''Vision and Tactics'' (Herder & Herder). graduated from the Catholic University, where he also received a master's degree and a doctorate in religious education. His father was president of the Manchester Transit Company.
