Thanks for another great book on grilling. One person found this helpful. Reader has put together an impressive track record of well-done books over the last decade. First was "Stick & Stones: The Art of Grilling on Plank, Vine and Stone" which was actually a 1999 release co-authored with Kathleen Sloan.

She trained at the Culinary Institute of America and has worked at San Francisco's One Market Restaurant and at New York City's Restaurant Daniel, Café Boulud, Ducasse, and Del Frisco's Steak House. Desaulniers has written 10 cooking books including "Death by Chocolate" (1992). His concentration on chocolate cuisine and his fondness for chocolate ganache has earned him the sobriquet of "Guru of Ganache.
