In Search of Lehi's Trail by Lynn M. Hilton.

I bought this book for a friend. She had previously owned a copy and loaned it out. Must be really good, because she never got her copy back. I ordered this one, and it came previously used, so not brand new. It came with a lot of wear and tear to the book sleeve cover, but otherwise the book seemed to be in descent shape. She was very pleased to receive the book; and it was Prime, so it came in just a few days.

Based on the Hiltons' 1986 Ensign article series, this book gives a credible path for Lehi's trail on the Arabian peninsula and includes more than the articles did. The photos are large but not particularly beautiful--this is not a beautiful part of the world, to me. But there's a great, large map of the proposed sites and the stories of their research and travels are interesting, pointing out things I hadn't noticed in the Book of Mormon.

Right on!! The author has signed my copy. The only difference, is that Lehi's ship sailed SW around Africa into the same Caribbean zone where Columbus "landed." The rest is in the Book Of Mormon.

It met my expectations. They said it was not new and and a little wear. It did but I was very pleased with the condition and content of the book!

Well researched, well documented, well written. Fun read! I'm glad they produced the book after starting with a monthly magazine installments. It's well worth a hardbound book!
