Steve Quayle recommended this book on his Youtube channel. I got it and it is absolutely AMAZING! Holly explains things in clear English. The format is well thought-out and it is easy to find things. She has considered details that are easily missed. The water purification is spot-on.

Everyone needs this book. Even if you don't think you need it, you are wrong. It is as close to perfect as I've seen.

I have emailed the author offering some updates to the Communications section for Amateur Radio and Solar energy.

This has proven to be an important reference for us. It covers many topics not found in the "expert" references and it covers them in a way that offers options. For example - how much food do you need for a year? Most books tell you to track what you eat - this one provides lists and several different techniques from the very basic to pretty complex.

I am sure everyone will find something useful in this book, while perhaps not everything is useful for everyone- this is a huge book, what may not be obviously useful now may be later.

This book was worth the price of admission.

I bought it as a gift for a long distance relative so I haven't personally seen this newest addition. I have one from a few years ago and believe this book is about as complete as it can be. I love it. Makes a great gift too, for those that are just starting to wake up and don't know where to begin on preps. I would recommend this book to both the new prepper and the experienced prepper alike. Holly added stuff in here like shelf life of meds and how to read labels on canned foods for dates, when there doesn't appear to be one on it. This book tells you to prepare for any type of disaster and even has personal experiences with various situations that help bring that information in an easy to understand format. Basically you don't have to be a rocket scientist to follow this book. It even shows floor plans on how to build a bunker and more. I can't say enough about it!

And you see this large book and your wondering about it ? Or you are a seasoned prepper and you have no idea who the auther is and not much in the way of a bio .

This is a outstanding reference book . Many many MANY hours of sweat and hard work go into books like this . Trust me I know

I bought about 4 of these books to keep in different locations to have on hand

Don't do kindle or whatever for stuff like this . You NEED the hard copy !!!

Because what happens if the world goes dark ? Or maybe just your area !!!

Good information on LOTS of self-reliance topics. Great lists and resources to check further. You can dig into the areas that interest you most, and have the rest as reference material when needed.
