In Extreme Measures, he combines scenes from his decades of emergency room experience with haunting images of experiments using human guinea pigs to create a terrifying world of life and death. Dr. Eric Najarian is young, talented and unafraid to use unorthodox emergency room procedures, even in the most dire cases. Smooth moving and fast paced?

Extreme Measures book. Michael Palmer must have been an extraordinar Kind of doing a marathon of Michael Palmer books right now since I found several I didn't have. I loved the characters and the complicated plot, was sad that the "evil place" was in my state of Utah, always enjoy the medical terminology.

Refrigerator and cupboards have been restocked. Hope I didn’t disturb any great bacteriology experiment by discarding the milk carton. The note was on Eric’s pillow when he arrived home, along with a volume of exquisite photographs entitled Diving Off the Caymans. He flipped through the pages, wondering what it might be like to live in such a place

Michael Palmer had me from the prologue in this twisted tale. From a mysterious powder that causes people to appear dead even to experienced doctors to a secret society pulling strings in one of the most respected hospitals in the country, Palmer weaves this story together flawlessly. Do not hesitate to join Dr. Eric Najarian, sister of a missing man Laura Enders, and P.I. Bernard Nelson in their race to find answers.

This is my first book written by Michael Palmer . I adored his father for many years and was sad to learn that he had passed away . This is also the first medical suspense thriller that I've read and it was excellent . It was written with expertise so Michael Palmer does take after his father Dan Palmer and I give this book 5 stars and highly recommend it

The influence of Laura on Eric made me happy. I enjoyed expecting them to commit to each other. Laura and Scott's devotion to each other was heartening. The plot is engaging, and I hope something that would never happen, but.... I did suspect who the main villain was quite early. All said, I always enjoy reading Michael Palmer's books.

I really enjoy Palmer's books. This one was okay but not the best. The ending left a little to be desired. It's still a good choice for medical intrigue.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys an excellent mystery. Michael PALMER does know how to write write good books.

They keep you on the edge of your seat while while reading them. His story plots are always well thought out and very suspenseful.. This one in
particular with this use of viruses and antidotes to change the outcomes.
I hope he continues to write them.. I have read all but two of His books and
they are all excellent.

I have never read a MIchael Palmer novel that was not entertaining, thought provoking, and worthwhile. This novel that I read on my Kindle from Amazon is certainly no exception. I highly recommend your purchase and reading.
A good read if you like medical dramas. Well written with good characters. I didn't firgure out who was behind the drama until right before it was known in the book.
