My first Folsom book and I will order more of them. Intrigue at the highest level of the Vatican with two brothers, a lawyer and a priest, become the unlikely axis around which the world must be saved from evil in the Catholic Church. If you have been to Rome you will enjoy the city as the setting for this cat and mouse thriller. Have you ever found yourself reading words faster than were registered in your mind? This thriller was like that for me as I could not help speeding through one sentence to the next being captured in suspense.

It starts off pretty good, but soon you start to notice all the misspellings and typos. As the story gets harder and harder to believe, the mistakes get worse, also. Soon you are having a hard time understanding some of the sentences where "the" is spelled "die" repeatedly, "that" is spelled "mat" and sometimes commas or apostrophes or dollar signs show up in the middle of a sentence or a word. The author is as ruthless as his villain, and the hero does things that defy believability. Still the story drags on and on until you don't care who lives or dies as long as it finally ends. When I pay good money for a book, I expect it to be professionally edited, even if the story is lame.

One of my favorite all time books ... I also have to in Italian. I own a copy in hardcover and on my kindle and sent this copy to my cousin. I love this story, as did my husband.

Tremendously compelling page turner. Conspiracies abound in The Vatican. A Cardinal is murdered, water supplies in China are poisoned. Is a CIA deep cover mole planted in The Vatican? An American entertainment lawyer finds himself in the middle of this fast moving novel. Even though it's almost 700 pages the reader can hardly stop turning those pages. There are about 25 characters in the book that are well developed and relevant and believable. I really can't rave enough!

The number of typos throughout the book was phenomenal. $$ signs for the letter s to name one of the typos present throughout. Sometimes I had to read a sentence two or three times just to get the gist of what the author was saying. Very frustrating that if someone was paid to type out the book, no one was paid to edit. If it was scanned from the paper version, I can't believe the original had this many typos. Would I recommend the book, yes! Would I recommend it in Kindle or e-form, NO.

Happy with order
The Kindle versions are a bit pricey but well worth the expense. He really tells a good story. Does excellent character development. He also paints a picture that can be easily visualized.
