This is yet another amazing book by Elizabeth Parker. Adding her own twists to the crime fiction genre, Elizabeth has created a tale of a family and a serial killer that will keep you reading. She uses the mysterious bond between twins, the abuse suffered during the early childhood of a serial killer, and the love of family to present a story of crime and of love lost and found only to be lost once again. The mind and motivation of the killer is presented in a way that might get people to take a slightly different view of some murderers. This is one crime novel that does not get over-burdened with the forensics and law enforcement lingo which makes it an easy read. The way Elizabeth focuses mainly on the family and the killer creates a story that effectively weaves together both love and hate, good and evil. Anyone who wants a story that will be exciting and move your emotions should read this book. - Sheila Rae Myers, Author

I enjoyed that the writer took the time to set up the psychological background. The son who was a twin shows that nuture plays a big part in the outcome of some individuals as to if they will become a serial killer. Not to say that some will no matter what, but there is hope for a percentage of those with this problem. It kept me on the edge of my seat and the background of the city was interesting. The twists in the story keep you guessing and it had a smooth flow. I would recommend this book to all my friends. Sincerely Joann Hussey.

Lots of suspence in this book. I have always heard that twins have a special connection. This book shows this connection.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I wish it had ended differently, but I would suggest it to everyone who enjoys a good mystery.

Elizabeth Parker is hot! Her writing is phenomenal! Her stories keep me up late at night, worrying. This is a good thing.

This is an incredible adventure. So many twists and turns in the plot, so much wonderful suspense....just when I thought I knew where the story was going in the beginning, it suddenly shifted. I was taken on a wonderful carnival ride of events that never stopped. I've said this before about Elizabeth Parker; but I'll say it again. She takes you right into her world. You find yourself right in the heads of these characters, and no matter what creepy things they do or how they live their lives, you never want to leave! Some part of you keeps rooting for all of them, no matter what. I highly recommend reading this book on a rainy day or any day...I guarantee you won't be able to put it down.

I choose this book because of the author. I enjoyed reading her dog stories and enjoyed this change.
Story was good, liked the ending
I got this free on Kindle, so I feel bad writing a bad review, PLUS I'm only 75% of the way through, and cannot convince myself this is a decent book. I try to look past the terribly forced dialogue (for example, there is a couple of 15 year old girls half way through that talk like NO ONE, especially not 15 year olds, talk. the writing is way forced and really ruins the story for me. I try really hard to get into the story, as it seems like an interesting story-line, but my lord, the dialogue. I just can't handle it. Sorry. Maybe I'll revise this review once I finish the book....but who knows. Just be prepared to fight your way through the first 3/4ths....I just hope it's worth it.
