Absolute Instinct is absolutely terrifying. Published by Thriftbooks. As a longtime fan of Robert W. Walker's Instinct series, I was eager to get my hands in his latest Jessica Coran story.

Absolute Instinct is absolutely terrifying. com User, 14 years ago. It was worth the wait, because Walker's novel made my skin want to slide from my bones. The killer in Absolute Instinct exhibits his evil nature at the ripe age of seven when his mother catches him sucking the marrow of her dead cat's spine. That scene actually made my blood boil, and I said a curse out loud.

Absolute Instinct book. The murder was so appalling even a hardened agent like FBI medical examiner Dr. Jessica Coran was shocked-the spinal cord had been literally ripped from the woman's back. Ghastly as it was, it wasn't unique. A man had already been convicted of killing his wife in the exact same fashion. Is the doomed death-row prisoner innocent?

Your motherly instincts were absolute, unbreakable, resolute. hung upon the face of the unknown.

Your motherly instincts were absolute, unbreakable, resolute. No, Father, don't misunderstand. Repeatedly Jessica and Darwin had been put off by the Oregon state penal authorities, who cited a litany of reasons why they could not visit Towne until after four in the afternoon. But finally they were in, after they had undergone frisking and scanning, their telephones confiscated along with their guns. Darwin introduced Jessica to Robert Towne who looked so much like his brother that Jessica did a double take. I thought you guys were half brothers, different moms.

I just finished reading this book and will definitly be looking for more by this author. It was exciting from the beginning and never dwelled over long on the current topic. It was actually an assortment of genres all thrillers. Mostly police work with a twist but a touch of forencic medicine, a touch of brotherly love, bad politicians, and salvation for an inocent man. If you like this sort of thing don't pass it up you will love this book.
This book has it all.
The story gets a bit confusing at times, but enjoyable nonetheless. I gather from the characters in the story some were from a previous read. I wish the author had tied these characters a bit better because it was frustrating knowing a connection, but just not getting it.
I don't think a book needs to contain such gory scenes to be a thriller. I wish I had gone with the preview because I would have read no further than that. This book was immediately deleted.
Thought too many quotes per eAch chapter beginning. Too much technical medical definitions and confusing when author chose to add other culture meanings. Seemed like added as way to Increase word count rather than exploring earlier in book. Could use new character to tie together. Still liked it
I had read these books years ago when they first came out. I wanted to entire set on my Kindle.
There are at least 2 typos on each page. Makes book hard to read. I have found this on each Kindle "Instinct" book so far in the series. Very distracting.
Not my idea of a good time. Could not get past the 1st chapter. One has to be of a type different from me to enjoy this.
