My first experience with B A Shapiro was the Art Forger which I loved. I felt it was well researched and just a good read. I bought a few more of her books and mostly enjoyed them. I was very disappointed with Shattered Echoes. And I hated the ending. Makes me question if I want to order any more of her books. It was a real miss for me.

Book arrived as scheduled. I loved "The Art Forger"---this book, not so much.

Great story - I love all Shapiro's books. They're all engaging and entertaining.

Too far fetched. No where near as interesting as The Art Forger

This is the first book I read by this author, and will be the last. I got halfway through it before giving up on it ever improving. The main character wasn't very likable, she did a lot of whining and had no sense. The diary of a past owner of the place she moved into had the writer's story becoming more and more miserable, and the dialogue throughout was trite and predictable. I tossed it in the trash instead of giving it away, so other readers wouldn't get disappointed.
