Titan Books is reprinting Donald Hamilton's Matt Helm series-all 27 novels. My copies are old and falling apart. Some things never change. I welcome the opportunity to get fresh copies and retire my old ones-even if on Page 42 this typo appears: "I could hear the doodlebug coining. This book, "The Retaliators," is between these two. It has a lot of fun in i. It has a lot of fun in it. It just needs to be a little shorter. Matt's suddenly having a lot of money from an unknown source is intriguing. The girl who is sort of silly sometimes but not at others keeps us wondering. Solana-Ruiz, about whom we are never quite sure if he's on Matty's side, wants Matt on his side, or intends to cause trouble, has appeared in previous stories, and is a good character.
