The mystery was pretty good, but most of the characters were pretty flat. Not Norton's best; I think she was trying too hard to stay in Genre. You didn't really get to know much about the heroine and the hero didn't really come into focus for me. I could really see this as a period movie tho'--I think it would really rock!

I read this as it was recommended because it's a departure from Norton's Science Fiction works. It was an entertaining read.
